National president rejects fascism attacks against images of Dr. José Gregorio Hernández

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, denounced the fascist and criminal attacks that the country received 15 days ago after the July 28 election, especially against health centers and statues. “I don't understand how they attack Dr. José Gregorio Hernández, his statue and what he represents”

“How dare a right-wing fascist group attack the statue of José Gregorio Hernández? (...) It's something I can't understand and I don't think the people of Venezuela can understand. Dr. Hernández is an inspiration for many, as are the young women doctors who care for the people, they are our inspiration,” she said.

The Head of State took the opportunity to greet the staff of the Domingo Luciani Hospital in El Llanito from where he inaugurated a care wing.
