National President: The process of searching for terrorists linked to Guanipa is in full swing

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, from “La Lucha Boulevard”, in the Leoncio Martínez parish in Petare, said that investigations into the dismantled terrorist cell have presented 10 percent of what was found in the hands of those involved in this operation to public opinion.

“Today Diosdado Cabello gave a press conference and showed 10% of the evidence available, including the handwriting plans of this Mr. Juan Pablo Guanipa, how he planned the physical elimination of all the leaders of the Great Patriotic Pole Simon Bolivar, attacks on UN and Colombian embassies, attacks against opposition leaders who registered in the elections of May 25 and 60 attacks against refineries and oil installations,” the Head of State reported.

He stressed that thanks to strategic police, military and popular intelligence, it was possible to capture more than 70 conspirators, with their bosses and complete plans.

“The process of searching for these terrorists is still in full swing because they are not politicians because whoever is thinking of carrying out an attack against a person is not a politician, he is a criminal and a terrorist,” said the national president. He added that what they found on the phones that were seized from Juan Pablo Guanipa during his capture are evidence of moral and personal degradation “at levels never seen before”.
