National Surgical Plan provided care to nearly 2,000 Carabobeño patients

More than 1,900 patients underwent surgery in Carabobo through the National Surgical Plan implemented by the Ministry of Health in different medical centers of the entity.
Dr. Kristhel Salazar, head of the Surgery Service of the Hospital City Dr. Enrique Tejera (CHET), reported that in five days the operations were performed distributed in the specialties of general, head and neck surgery, oncology, maxillofacial, plastic and otorhinolaryngology.
“We are talking about 13 hospitals in the state working hard to provide effective answers to the health of our patients,” he said in statements collected by the newspaper Úlcias Noticias
He highlighted that in the Dr. Enrique Tejera Hospital City in Valencia, more than 600 cases treated were exceeded.
He explained that more than 50 elective interventions were attended to during the conference in the oncology area.
Salazar said that the National Surgical Plan is successfully closing in Carabobo, guaranteeing timely access to specialized health services for the population.
