Representatives of Venezuelan youth from the country's
25 states concluded this Wednesday the National Meeting of
Youth in Action: Popular Government and the 7 Transformations, in which
they discussed strategic issues on the actions that youth will promote to
strengthen permanent work teams in the national territory.
During the closing of the event at the headquarters of the
Great Venezuela Youth Mission, the Minister of Popular Power for Youth,
Sergio Lotartaro, instructed specific tasks and called for permanent
mobilization and the inclusion, even more, of young people from secondary and
university education in the activities.
“We must reflect the participation of
our young people in every activity and space of productive development in the
country, as well as be accountable for the tasks of the vertices,” he said.
In the same way, the head of the Great
Venezuela Youth Mission, Genesis Garvett, reiterated the need for youth as
a whole force to resist the current political context. “We
have to win the battle week by week and we achieve that by doing
activities through the vertices, mobilizing our boys and
knowing the needs of each sector,” he said.
In addition, the Secretary General of Youth of the United Socialist
Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Grecia Colmenares, explained that
it is necessary to apply the information obtained at this meeting and keep the work
agenda active through action strategies, thinking about
youth as a whole.
“Let's show our plans, let's
be active in the communes, let's show our achievements, let's live in the International
School of Leadership, let's think about the achievements we have achieved.”
On the other hand, the executive secretary of the Federal Government
Council (CFG), Leonardo Montezuma, instructed that it is
essential to coordinate the commune's banks, the chambers of self-government, the communal parliament and self-management.
Additionally, those present participated in recreational activity sessions, workshops to improve care for young people and a master class on tools for teamwork.
