Since the start of the Holy Week holiday and until this Holy Thursday, a total of 2,973 people have moved from the central terminal of Maracay to the coast of the state of Aragua.

According to a press release from the Municipal Institute of Public Transport of Girardot (IMTRAGIR), the transfer of vacationers was carried out in 72 transport units authorized for this purpose.

In addition, the text indicated that the aforementioned terminal, managed by the mayor's office of the Girardot municipality, maintains a security device in which the different State security agencies participate.

For this year, the land port authorities expect to have a greater influx than in previous years, so work devices have been established to ensure the necessary conditions to ensure the transfer of passengers.

Among the planned actions, there is the deployment of Girardot Child and Adolescent Protection officers (CMDNNA) who carry out exhaustive control and surveillance work to ensure their protection, safety and duties, ensuring compliance with the permission for the transfer of this population sector.

The President of IMTRAGIR, Eilyn Suárez, reported that working tables have been prepared in advance with the different competent bodies, which live in the land port to maintain security at the highest level and to be prepared for these days, where the activity inside the passenger terminal is highly mobile and in demand from users who make their trips.
