This Monday, The Times of Israel published that the Prime Minister of Tel Aviv, Benjamin Netanyahu, acknowledged for the first time that his country's special services were behind the operation in which thousands of pagers and 'walkie-talkies' exploded across Lebanon, killing thousands of citizens.

“The operation with the search engines and the elimination of (the leader of Hezbollah, Hassan) Nasralah were carried out despite the opposition of senior defense officials and those responsible at the political level,” said the prime minister.

In this regard, Russia Today (RT) in an appointment with AFP highlighted that the Zionist spokesman, Omer Dostri, stated that “Netanyahu confirmed on Sunday that he gave the green light to the search operation in Lebanon”.

Benjamin Netanyahu announced last week that he dismissed Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and appointed current Foreign Minister Israel Katz to this position.

“Between Gallant and I, significant gaps were discovered in the conduct of the war, and these breaches were accompanied by statements and actions that contradicted the decisions of the Government and the decisions of the cabinet,” said the Prime Minister.
