New flight with 493 Russian tourists arrived on Margarita Island

A new flight from the Russian Federation arrived at Margarita Island. A total of 493 tourists enjoy the benefits and attractions that the state of Nueva Esparta has to offer.

The commercial operation between Pegas Touristk and Hover Tour is backed by the Ministry of Popular Power for Tourism, whose government policy promotes Venezuela as a country of opportunities for enjoyment and recreation.

In this regard, the Minister of People's Power for Tourism, Leticia Gómez, highlighted that to date, 4,444 Russian tourists have been received in the country. “It is a sign of the position of this sovereign and peaceful nation,” he said.

He assured that these agreements with the private sector have strengthened strategies for the increase of inbound tourism and at the same time an important contribution to the country's Gross Domestic Product.

Gómez explained that some of the tourists visit destinations such as Canaima, the east of the country and heritage and historic cities. In addition, he announced that this week, 100 more tourists are also expected to arrive, through the Venetur Russia office.
