Nicaragua breaks diplomatic relations with Israel

The Government of Nicaragua announced this Friday that it is breaking diplomatic relations with the Zionist State of Israel, TASS reports.

The vice-president of this nation, Rosario Murillo, specified that President Daniel Ortega ordered the severing of diplomatic ties with the “fascist and genocidal” Israeli executive.

“Our President has instructed the Foreign Ministry of the Republic to comply with this request of the National Parliament and to proceed with the rupture of diplomatic relations with the fascist and genocidal government of Israel,” he said.

It is a countermeasure to the actions carried out in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon.

“We condemn fascism, we repudiate it, we reject it,” Murillo emphasized.

The decision was executed after the National Assembly requested the Executive to take such a measure in response to the “human rights violations of the Palestinian people”, international media reports.
