Nicaragua reaffirms solidarity with Venezuela in the face of imperialist aggressions

The Government of Nicaragua expressed in a letter its firm support for the people of Venezuela in the face of the continuous aggressions and attempts at destabilization promoted by the United States and its allies.

In the letter, Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega and Vice President Rosario Murillo condemned the acts of piracy and the theft of oil ships by the North American empire, as well as illegal threats and executions, demanding the immediate cessation of these aggressions that violate the Charter of the United Nations and the principles of international law.

Dear Nicolas:

With deep appreciation we have received the letter you send us regarding the multiple aggressions and threats faced by our Brother People and Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, and all of Our America.

The Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of Nicaragua recognizes the unquestionable vocation of Peace of the Bolivarian Government of Venezuela and reiterates the invariable Solidarity of the People of Sandino with the Heroic and Uncompromising People of Bolivar and Chávez, who fight tirelessly against the destabilizing attempts of Imperialism and its lackeys, against Peace, International Law and Respect for the Sovereignty of the Free Peoples of the World.

We share the condemnation of these acts of aggression, the threat or use of force against territorial integrity, piracy, looting and theft of Venezuelan natural resources, extrajudicial executions, illegal even under the laws of the United States, and we demand the immediate cessation of all these aggressions, which violate the Charter of the United Nations and International Law.

We are living in extraordinarily difficult times, but we are sure that Venezuela wins and will overcome, that our Peoples overcome and will overcome, because we love Peace and we walk hand in hand with our Almighty God, defending the Rights, Advances and Victories achieved.

Today, as always, the People of Andrés, Zeledón and Sandino keep intact our support and support for the Right of our Peoples to live in Sovereignty, Independence, Identity, Dignity and Wellbeing, defending with Courage, Firmness and Honor the Life, Peace and Prosperity of the Peoples of Our Latin and Caribbean America.
