Nicolás Maduro: 27 territorial actions will be carried out within the framework of Exercise Independence 200

As part of the Independence 200 exercise, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), together with the Bolivarian National Militia, will carry out 27 territorial actions in the states of La Guaira and Carabobo to guarantee the comprehensive defense of our territory, said the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

“This morning of October 8, 2025, starting at 12 p.m., at midnight, the Independence 200 exercise began, with the comprehensive activation of all defense, resistance and permanent offensive plans in the La Guaira comprehensive defense zone and in the Carabobo comprehensive defense zone, simultaneously,” he said through a video released on his Telegram channel.

In addition, the Commander in Chief of the FANB assured that these actions seek to refine “the popular military machinery of this powerful national movement for the defense of our peace, our sovereignty and our right to the future”.

In the same way, Maduro stressed that this type of maneuver will be activated in the different Integral Defense Zones (ZODI) that make up the territorial defensive system.
