Nicolás Maduro: Commander Chávez's triumph paved the way for the 21st century

The electoral victory of the Supreme Commander, Hugo Chávez Frías, on December 6, 1998, paved the way for the 21st century and gave rise to our Magna Carta, which refounded the nation, said the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

In a message posted on his Telegram channel, the Head of State emphasized that, with that first electoral victory, Commander Chávez came to power flying the flags of historic resistance to usher in a new era for our country.

“Commander Chávez took the foundational step from his genius, and his victory in 1998 gave a vital impetus to the construction of the Homeland that we defend today. Long live the Undefeated Commander!” , highlighted Maduro.
