Deputy Nicolás Maduro Guerra, during a day of prayer from Plaza Bolívar in Caracas, assured that despite the numerous difficulties faced by his father, the president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, together with his wife the first lady Cilia Flores, remains with faith in God and in his people intact.

“We remember what happened on January 3rd and the calls for democracy, peace, love and dialogue made by President Maduro and his faith in God, so we can never lose faith in our Lord, his justice and the purpose he has for us.” said the parliamentarian in reference to the kidnapping of the Venezuelan presidential couple at the hands of the imperialist government of the United States.

Also, in the presence of leaders of the Bolivarian Revolution and spiritual leaders of all the religions professing in the country, he read biblical quotes to reflect on what Christianity orients in times of difficulty such as those experienced by these Venezuelan martyrs at the hands of the empire.

“There God tells us that it does not mean that everything is good, but that he guides all things, including the painful, towards a definite good, cross, resurrection and intersection,” reiterated Maduro Guerra.

The parliamentarian stressed that this spiritual encounter not only seeks the well-being of the presidential couple, but also to honor the memory of those who have suffered recently and ask for the stability of the Fatherland.
