Nicolás Maduro sworn in before the AN as constitutional president for the period 2025-2031

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, was sworn in before the National Assembly (AN), for a new constitutional term 2025-2031.
The swearing in took place in a solemn session of the AN, in the Elliptical Hall of the Federal Legislative Palace, Caracas.
President Maduro was sworn in on the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, which was signed by Commander Hugo Chávez at the time of its approval on December 15, 1999.
“Before the great Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, the Legislative Power of the Republic, before visitors and delegates from 125 countries, before the people of Venezuela, I swear by Guaicaipura of the Black and Black Peoples, by the Indigenous Peoples, by Pedro Camejo and José Leonardo Chirino, I swear by Bolívar, by Sucre, by Urdaneta, by Manuela Sáenz, by the eternal memory of our Commander Hugo Chávez and for the heroic and fierce people of Venezuela, before this Constitution that I will enforce all his mandates, that I will enforce all the obligations of the Constitution and the laws of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and that this new presidential term will be the period of peace, prosperity, equality and new democracy, I swear by history for my life and so I will fulfill”, said the Head of the Republic Bolivarian of Venezuela.
In addition, the presidential band was put on, which was embroidered by the hardworking hands of hundreds of women, men and children.
For his part, the visual artist Omar Cruz embroidered all the signs of the National Shield.
