North Korean tour operators visit the Warairarepano Cable Car

A delegation of diplomats and tour operators from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea visited the facilities of the Warairarepano Cable Car System, located in Caracas; as part of the exchange with other nations promoted by the Minister of People's Power for Tourism, Leticia Gómez.

During the ascent, tour operators showed special interest in the maintenance and safety standards that govern the system, and recognized that the operational capacity positions it as a world-class destination capable of hosting large flows of Asian visitors interested in nature tourism.

Upon arriving at the upper station, visitors walked the artisanal trails and enjoyed the panoramic view of the central coast and the Caracas metropolis. They also tasted traditional hot chocolate and typical dishes such as cachapa and grill.

With these approaches, promoted by the Government of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, the ties of brotherhood and cooperation with this important strategic partner are strengthened. The integration between modern engineering and ecological mountain preservation is a potential tool to continue strengthening international inbound tourism.
