The Board of Directors of Monagas SC
announced the disengagement of Professor Daniel Blanco as Technical Director of the
first team.
The information was made official by the
Azulgrana team, through a statement published on their Social Networks,
where they thanked him for his commitment and wished him the best of luck in his next projects.
He also announced Grenddy Perozo as Interim Technical Director. The former player and current coach of the Barcelona Under-21 Category will be in charge of the first team for the rest of the 2024 FUTVE League Apertura Tournament.
“I am very aware of the club
I represent, Monagas has been my home for four years, helping me in my personal
growth and being active as a soccer player I had the opportunity to
prepare myself as a coach, which was fundamental to making the decision to retire here.
Now I have a test in front of me, which is to take the interim of the
first team to fight for the objectives in the rest of the tournament,” he said
The 38-year-old marabino will be
accompanied by Rafael Castellín as assistant and Danilo Del Campo as physical trainer.
Currently, Monagas SC is ranked
ninth in the standings of the
Venezuelan First Division, with 12 points as a result of 3 games won, the same number of draws and losses.
