Oil workers reaffirm their commitment within the framework of the reform of the Hydrocarbons Act

This Sunday, the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, received the support and commitment of the workforce in the hydrocarbons sector, from the Puerto La Cruz Refinery, of Petrleos de Venezuela S.A. (PDVSA), located in the state of Anzoátegui.
Rosana Campos, representing the operational team of the Orinoco Oil Belt, said that “since the division that drives the José Antonio Suárez Cryogenic, I am deeply proud to have been born in the homeland of Bolívar, to be an oil woman, I have spent my entire life in the industry.”
“Here I have worked with you arm, hand, fists and feet, in the face of so many adversities, but we have been with an unwavering spirit of struggle and of the growth of the nation; I am proud to belong to the team of diluents of the Orinoco Oil Company, allowing us to exploit and produce,” said the worker.
For his part, José Bastardo, from the refining area, thanked the president in charge Delcy Rodríguez for her presence. “From the National Refining Circuit, we are deeply proud that during this year 2025 we were able to provide 100% of the fuel that our nation demanded and it is an achievement, but that achievement does not stop in the backyards of the Puerto la Cruz refinery, the productive chain has been the perfect key to achieving progress and achieving the economic transformation of our Venezuela.”
Bastardo assured that “today an advancing Venezuela does not give up and today these warriors these warriors have made it possible for our national production to be afloat.”
“President, I want to tell you that you have the entire working class of Venezuela, a working class that is willing to grow in the face of difficulties,” concluded the refinery worker.
