The Bolivarian Government held a day of comprehensive and social care in the Alberto Arvelo Torrealba municipality of the state of Barinas, aimed at the elderly population living in the Casa Hogar Doña Carmela.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Health, the purpose of the day was to guarantee the right to identity and health of the country's grandparents and grandmothers, reaching a total of 98 people treated.

The deployment included the José Gregorio Hernández Identification Route, which allowed 60 older adults with reduced mobility to manage identity documents from the Rodríguez Domínguez and Sabaneta parishes; and the provision of free and specialized medical services.

The care offered included general medicine, immunization, ophthalmology, optometry, physiatry, rehabilitation, gastroenterology and citizen counseling, in an effort to provide comprehensive and timely care.
