Omar Vizquel dreams of directing Leones del Caracas

Former grandeliga Omar Vizquel expressed his desire to lead Leones del Caracas in the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP).

The former Venezuelan shortstop, winner of 11 gold gloves, speaking to LVBP En La Jugada, said: My big dream is to lead Leones, I hope that opportunity can come. “But there hasn't yet been a conversation with the Caracas Management,” he added.

“It's still too early to talk about it, the campaign has just ended,” he said.

He also added that during the season he shared a couple of games with the management of Los Menudos and “it was pleasant to talk to them”.
