A total of three community organizations in the parish of La Vega were served this Wednesday, August 26, through the comprehensive deployment of Operation Caracas Smile and Renace, a social program that managed to directly benefit nearly 1,800 neighbors with health care and social support.

The day, as reported by the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN), allowed the consolidation of direct service spaces for the inhabitants of the sector through the coordinated work of the different agencies of the municipality.

In this regard, the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, explained that the communes Triunfo del Libertador II and Renacer de Bolívar, together with the Hugo Chávez communal circuit, now have 100% of their self-government rooms fully equipped.

In the same way, in this activity, the spaces intended for the operation of the judges and justices of the peace in the area were left installed and conditioned.

In the framework of strengthening popular power, the mayor highlighted the delivery of trimotorcycles and various materials for the formal activation of three communal brigades. These territorial work teams will have direct responsibility for assuming operational tasks related to the continuous maintenance of public spaces, as well as the execution of works and construction work within their own communities.

For its part, the Caravan of Solutions provided extensive specialized medical coverage and offered training and recreational approaches in areas of culture and sports. This prioritized care was especially aimed at vulnerable sectors of the parish, including women, older adults, as well as the local children and youth population.
