Members of the organizing team of the Eastern 2024 National Games fine-tune details with representatives of the Ministry of People's Power for Sports, days before their inauguration.
Under the coordination of Governor Ernesto Luna and the general director of the event, Jesús Brito, they reviewed the issues related to logistics, food, mobilization, lodging, infrastructure, communication, health, volunteering and technology.
“We are one team and we all want the best in every detail of these games (...) President Nicolás Maduro and Minister Arnaldo Sánchez are betting on the highest level of organization in this sporting event,” Brito said, quoted by a press release.
Monagas will host 19 sports, including beach volleyball and kickingball, disciplines that will start on Monday, November 4 and Tuesday, November 5, respectively, days before the formal opening ceremony in the state of Anzoátegui, an entity that, together with Sucre and Falcón, will also be venues for competitions between the 8th and the 24th of this month.
