Padrino López after the Supreme Court ruling: Thanks to everyone's efforts, the country is at peace

The Minister of Popular Power for Defense, Vladimir
Padrino López, stressed this Thursday that Venezuela is at peace, after hearing the
ruling of the Electoral Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), which
certifies the results of the elections of last July 28 and the victory
of President Nicolás Maduro.
“We said it before the elections: the factors of the
extreme right intended to position us as referees or to attribute
functions to the Republic Plan that do not belong to us,” recalled the head of Defense through
his account on the social network Instagram, where he stressed that “Venezuela has its democratic institutions and they are fulfilling their constitutional functions.”
He stated that, “thanks to everyone's efforts, the country is
at peace; but it is forbidden to forget the blood shed due to the violent and
irresponsible actions carried out by a fascist sector after July 28, the
blackmail and threats that were received from outside, the planning of
new mercenary actions, the open support that ultra-right factors
have given to criminal gangs and cybercriminals.”
“We will defend our Homeland and the constitution
that governs it!” , emphasized Padrino López in his message.
