Padrino López: from Venezuela we wish for peace in Eastern Europe

The Minister of Defense, G/J Vladimir Padrino López, drew attention to the escalation of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, so, on behalf of Venezuela, he expressed the hope that peace would come to that region of Eastern Europe.

“The Russian-Ukrainian conflict has been escalating irresponsibly, all because the hegemonism of North American imperialism refuses to perish. We are facing a conflict that escalates every day and that puts us on the brink of the Third World War,” warned the senior military officer, through a video posted on his Instagram account.

In addition, Padrino López called on the multilateral organizations of the world to take action on the matter and “in case of not being able to do anything” to step aside and allow the Peoples to raise their voices and take the lead to reject this escalation.
