The Sectorial Vice President of Defense and Sovereignty, Vladimir Padrino López, ratified this Tuesday the determination of Latin American peoples to be free, 201 years after the Battle of Ayacucho and 123 years since the Cipriano Castro Proclamation.

During the event to commemorate these important dates, in Caracas, Padrino López emphasized that these are two events “that today the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, which in the words of our commander in chief (President Nicolás Maduro) is the United Liberation Army of the 21st century, wants to honor 201 years after that glorious Battle in Ayacuch or 123 years after that Proclamation of General Cipriano Castro”.

He described Cipriano Castro's Proclamation as “courageous and courageous”, recalling that at that time “European empires came to attack our shores, to attack our kindness, our sovereignty, and they were achieved with a wall of dignity, not only of him, but of an entire People”.

“So, together with our people, we are going to celebrate this iconic of our historiography and we are going with all the fervor with all the desire to continue fighting for our independence, for our national sovereignty and our territorial integrity,” he said to start the activity.
