The sectoral vice-president of Defense and National Sovereignty, G/J Vladimir Padrino López, reiterated this Thursday the commitment of the Venezuelan State to the frontal fight against drug trafficking, which he defined as a global threat that must be combated effectively from different angles.
“We beat drug trafficking every time it sticks its head up through different channels,” he said.
During his speech, he denounced that U.S. imperialism intends to impose drug trafficking as a generalized threat to the world, ignoring the particular realities of each nation.
“Every part of the world has its own threats, and we deal with them effectively, as we have demonstrated,” he said.
Padrino López stressed that the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) maintains its commitment to safeguarding peace and defending the constitutional rights of the Venezuelan people. “We are dedicated to preserving peace from any angle, from any perspective, to guarantee the constitutional rights of the people of Venezuela,” he said.
He concluded his message by reiterating his confidence in the country's future: “Always with great faith in the future and always convinced that victory belongs to us.”
