Panama will host the 2026 South American Youth Games

The South American Sports Organization (ODESUR) announced that the Republic of Panama will host the fourth edition of the South American Youth Games in 2026.
The President of the Panamanian Republic, José Raúl Mulino, and Camilo Pérez López, president of ODESUR, said that the date of this event will be from March 22 to April 4, 2026, bringing together 1,500 athletes from 17 countries who will compete in 21 sports disciplines.
In the same way, Pérez López stressed that “Youth games are the basis for these young people to stand out in the near future, working on their training and aiming that their first experience is this platform that allows them to reach the national teams with a remarkable performance; in addition, they motivate sports and the commitment of young people to it,” reported the press of the Ministry of Popular Power for Sports. It is now necessary to prepare the facilities and the organization to optimize the headquarters.
