This Friday, social movements and militants marched to support policies against hate and fascism in the city of Caracas.
The first vice-president of the National Assembly (AN), Pedro Infante, assured that through the Law against Fascism, those who promote hate “will have no place in Venezuelan politics” and recalled that last Thursday President Nicolás Maduro reinaugurated, in La Guaira, the statue of Commander Hugo Chávez and the Liberator Simon Bolivar, which was torn down by violent groups.
In this regard, Infante invited the Venezuelan people to participate in the National Consultation next Sunday, August 25.
For his part, Nahum Fernández, head of government of the Capital District, said that “peace has triumphed in Venezuela; we have a bright, large and prosperous Venezuela for the future.”
He reported that a document will be delivered “in gratitude to all the strength that the President of the Republic is putting into the recovery of public spaces.”
