Plan Bodega arrives at San Agustín Parish in Caracas

Through the promotion of the sixth summit of the Great Equality and Social Justice Mission “Hugo Chávez”, the Minister of Popular Power for National Trade, Luis Antonio Villegas, accompanied last Saturday the activation of the Bodega Plan in the La Charneca sector of the San Agustín del Sur parish.

The Thais Winery, with three years of experience, was one of the beneficiaries of this new deployment. The winery received charcuterie, chicken, butter, oil and vegetables to be sold at fair prices, in order to favor more than 780 families from the point and circle.

“I feel happy, pleased with this benefit, which is not only for me, but for the community. The products are within your reach, they are of quality and at fair prices,” said Thais Rodríguez.

With the social program, the State guarantees the direct distribution of food between producers and winemakers and winemakers, thus reducing up to 6 links in the distribution chain, allowing the final consumer to save up to 60% in some areas.

The government of President Nicolás Maduro guarantees food security for the most vulnerable Venezuelan families, with food produced nationally and of the highest quality. In addition, it strengthens the local economy, in line with the Q7 Government Plan for 2030.
