More than 500 Aragüeans were treated through the Cayapa Dental Plan, during a day organized by the regional government at the headquarters of the Health Corporation (CORPOSALUD).

The activity was led by Governor Karina Carpio, accompanied by the single health authority of the state of Aragua, Shirley Hernández, who confirmed the operation of the entity's new mobile dentistry unit.

According to information published in the newspaper Última Noticias, this day responds to requests made through the VenApp platform of the 1×10 Good Governance System.

During the day, patients “received dental care in areas such as tartrectomies, which includes the removal of tartar, bacterial plaque and surface stains on the teeth; as well as simple and complex prophylaxis and exodontics (extraction of teeth),” the newspaper reported.

They also performed dental restorations, periodontal curettage, and triages (for patients eligible to receive dental prostheses), while patients not eligible to receive dental prostheses were treated by specialists for a more thorough evaluation of their case.
