Plan Cayapa Heroica recovered equipment in a popular clinic in Portuguesa

The Cayapa Heroica Plan, an initiative that flourishes in times of challenges, arrived at the Popular Consultorio Popular Type I Durigua 4, in the municipality of Páez in the Portuguese state, to bring solutions and hope to the community.

Technicians from the Ministry of Science and Technology (MINCYT) were able to repair four essential equipment for patient care: a negatoscope, an air conditioner, a water heater and a neonatal scale. Each of these teams represents a significant step forward for the office, which serves an average of 20 people a day.

According to a MINCYT press release, the water heater, vital for the sterilization of instruments, guarantees safety and hygiene in medical care. Air conditioning, which creates an optimal environment for patients, contributes to their well-being and recovery. The neonatal scale, essential for the control and monitoring of newborns, ensures their healthy development. And the negatoscope, an indispensable tool for interpreting radiographs, facilitates the diagnosis and treatment of various pathologies.

The work of the Cayapa Heroica is an example of how Venezuelan science stands up to the blockade, demonstrating that inventiveness and resolution are stronger than any obstacle.
