Plan Cayapa Heróica recovered medical equipment in La Guaira

The Cayapa Heroica National Plan, an initiative of the Ministry of Science and Technology (Mincyt), took a firm step in its commitment to strengthening the infrastructure and operation of public health in the state of La Guaira, carrying out repairs of key medical equipment in two important healthcare centers in the region.

On a recent workday, the Plan's technical team was deployed to ensure the continuity of essential services in the Psychofamily Care Center for Children and the Sea.

The initial intervention, according to a MINCYT press release, focused on the diagnosis and successful repair of the control panel of a dental chair.

Later, the day was extended to the Ana de Teresa Jesús Ponce Hospital (Maternity) in Macuto. In this health center, the X-ray image digitizer was serviced and repaired.

This technological intervention is extremely important, since it optimizes diagnostic imaging processes, which directly translates into a better and faster quality of medical care for mothers and children in La Guaira.
