Technicians from the Cayapa Heroica National Plan successfully carried out a day of technical maintenance at the Dr. David Espinoza Rojas Type I Hospital, located in the Arismendi municipality of the state of Nueva Esparta.
During this deployment, the plan's specialized personnel performed preventive and corrective maintenance work on 21 hospital devices, achieving the recovery and start-up of 11 high-priority teams. Among the restored assets are X-ray equipment, a surgical bed, a dental unit, five hospital scales, two infantometers and a humidifier.
This intervention, according to a press release from the Ministry of Science and Technology (MINCYT), has an immediate impact on the quality of care at this healthcare center, which receives an average of 2,500 patients per month. The recovery of these tools directly strengthens the areas of imaging, surgery and maternal and child care, ensuring the continuity of public health services.
