Plan for Science and Technology Vacations 2026 served more than 200 children from 4 states of the country

At the close of the 2026 Science and Technology Vacation Plan, the Ministry of Science and Technology (MINCYT), through the regional Foundations for the Development of Science and Technology (FUNDACYTE), incorporated more than 200 boys, girls and young people from the states of Anzoátegui, Sucre, Apure and Trujillo in areas of astronomy, physics, chemistry, robotics and computer science, framed in the National Program for Scientific Semilleros the Great Mission Science, Technology and Innovation Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán.

In the state of Anzoátegui, participants discussed chemistry and oil production at the Teaching Center for Science Education in Barcelona, carrying out laboratory practices and environmental initiatives, according to a MINCYT press release.

For their part, in the state of Sucre, a total of 106 young people from the Montes municipality entered into marine production together with the National Center for Fisheries and Aquaculture Research (CENIPA), analyzing species such as sardines through microscopy, in addition to carrying out interactive chemical experiments on PH and gaseous reactions with the support of FUNDACITE Sucre.

In the Apure state, the conference promoted by FUNDACITE Apure in San Fernando attended students from four educational institutions using the microscope and assembling technological structures using the Makeblock Ultimate 2.0 educational robotics kit, promoting logical thinking and creativity.

In addition, in the state of Trujillo, 75 young people focused on the Mission Base of the La Floresta sector, where they explored everyday physics, seismic waves and astronomical phenomena with the Stellarium tool, virtual reality lenses, telescopes and chess dynamics, with the support of the Infocentro Foundation.
