PNB arrested a citizen with 32 wrappers of alleged marijuana in Portuguesa

Officials attached to the Organized Crime Division of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB), in the Portuguese state, succeeded in apprehending a citizen for his alleged link to the crime of illegal possession of narcotic and psychotropic substances, within the framework of the citizen security strategies implemented in the region.

During the procedure, in the last few hours, security officers seized a total of 32 regular-sized wrappers, made of black synthetic material, which contained plant remains of a presumed drug called marijuana, weighing approximately 98 grams.

As part of the elements of criminal interest collected at the site of the event, the authorities also seized a gray digital scale, a scissors, a brown and purple purse, and cash.

The apprehended citizen, together with all the physical evidence recovered during the operation, was ordered by the Public Ministry to initiate the corresponding legal process and determine the responsibilities that might arise.
