Poem book by María Ysabel Camacaro was baptized in Yaracuy

As part of the program of the Yaracuy Literary Marathon 2026, the book of poems or Presentialism of Poemary: Echoes of Silence and Dark Legends of Nirgua, by the writer María Ysabel Camacaro, was presented at the House of Cultural Diversity of that town.

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), the play brings together 76 poems distributed in six chapters: Dark Legends of Nirgua, Suspense in the Darkness, Voices of the Woodpecker, Mysteries of Water and Earth, Inner Shadows and The House.

The collection of poems, published by R&R Imagen and printed in Barquisimeto in August 2026, takes inspiration from the oral tradition of Nirgua and covers stories, spaces and old houses of the town, with silence as a central element of the compositions.

The presentation was given by the coordinator of the Book, Reading and Thought Platform of the Ministerial Cabinet for Culture of the state of Yaracuy, Jairo Brijaldo. In addition, during the activity, Camacaro shared details about the creative process of the play with local actress Carmen Teresa Fuentes.
