Political and social organizations debated proposals for the Congress of the Historical Bloc at a General Assembly of the 5 Generations, held at the National Art Gallery (GAN), which was led by Mayor Carmen Meléndez, to discuss, together with members of various social movements, projects proposed in assemblies held in the 22 parishes of Caracas.

In his account on the social network Instagram, Meléndez specified that in Caracas there have been about 2,500 assemblies in communities and communal councils, located in the 22 parishes of Caracas.

“Here we have held meetings at all levels, and we are building the Concrete Action Agenda (ACA) in Caracas. We also listen to the people, we walk all over Caracas, we hear what the city wants in a big way,” he explained.

He emphasized that through this event, priority is given to basic services and schools that he wanted “to have all of them 100% recovered”, including public offices and businesses.

He also reported that these action plans are set out in investment plans for Caracas, with the intention of complying “with our people and all the priorities they express.”

For his part, the coordinator of the Historical Bloc, Ricardo Menéndez, mentioned that so far 67,000 assemblies have been held in the national territory, exceeding the 2.3 million people who have joined the initiative through different days.

He stressed that at the beginning of the assemblies, dedicated to the political sector and inclined to issues of fascism and Homeland, there were more than 300,000 proposals, demonstrating the level of convening and debate existing in the country.

“The mission of building Venezuela for everyone is coming, the time is coming for a leap in the history of our country, that accumulation of forces that is happening and that is what we are going to have on October 31 and November 1 with the President of the Republic,” he said.

This activity is carried out within the framework of the plenary sessions of the Congress of the Bolivarian Historical Bloc of the Seven Transformations for Venezuela (7T) and the Five Generations (5G), a space for dialogue and reflection on the transformation of the political and social model in the country.
