Popular Power evaluates strategies to renew spokespersons in the Apure Community Councils

The Popular Power of the Andrés Eloy Blanco Commune, located in the San Fernando municipality of the state of Apure, held a working day with the purpose of evaluating the advances and challenges in two strategic lines of the communal movement: the National Plan for the Renewal of Voceries in Municipal Councils 2026 and the formation of the Community Political Teams of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV).

The activity was attended by the Minister of Popular Power for Communes, Social Movements and Urban Agriculture, Ángel Prado and the governor of the entity, Wilmer Rodríguez, and other authorities.

The day made it possible to review the organizational state of the territory and reaffirm the role of communities in the construction of a participatory and leading democracy, in line with national guidelines.

In a review of the Venezolana de Televisión portal, he specifies that the keys to the encounter in the territory are:

Agroproductive unit: Producers of cocoa, corn, legumes, livestock and fishing ratified their commitment to the industrialization of the countryside and food sovereignty, highlighting the productive potential of the communal axis.

Direct management: The municipalities reported the adaptation of more than 30 km of roads through strategic agreements, demonstrating the capacity of self-management to solve priority needs.

Women's Strength and Concrete Agenda for Action (ACA): Community women are making progress in consolidating their ACA, to prioritize health, education and road projects as central axes for the National Popular Consultation.

Towards October 18, when the National Popular Consultation will take place, with the support of the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, Apure is mobilizing towards a new day of participatory and proactive democracy, to strengthen territorial organization and community leadership.
