The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, questioned this Thursday the secrecy surrounding the candidacies of opposition extremism ahead of the regional and legislative elections on May 25.
During the swearing in of the Simón Bolívar Great Patriotic Pole Campaign Command (GPPSB) in the Portuguese state, Cabello pointed out that “they (the extremists) don't want to say anything because they are very scratched.”
“You don't know why they don't dare to show their faces and tell the country: 'These are the candidates of the counterrevolution'. And what are they going to offer the People? Win governorates to ask for sanctions. Win the National Assembly to call for blockades and invasions. Will that be it?” , whipped the leader of the red awning from Guanare.
He indicated that if extremist candidates “start offering things that only the Bolivarian Revolution can give, they will become evident (...) They are the same people who called for the assassination of President Nicolás Maduro, who staged coups in Altamira, back at the distributor, and today they present themselves as if nothing is happening. They have no morals to appear before the country,” he emphasized.
