PORTUGUESA/GUANARE Cabello: We must go beyond revolutionary militancy!

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reaffirmed to the revolutionary forces the importance of the elections on May 25 in which governors, deputies and deputies will be elected to the National Assembly (AN) and to the Legislative Councils.

“It's a great choice, which is why the seriousness with which this task must be taken,” he said about the swearing in of the State and Circuit Campaign Commands of the Portuguese state.

In that sense, he emphasized that the Revolution in these elections, although we have a great advantage, which is the support of the People, we must always go further in this campaign, to conquer and consolidate a great victory.

“Of course we have advantages, we have Pueblo, because it's not that we're going to go to the communities now, because elections are coming, no; we belong to the People, we come from there (...) we have to go further, that's why face to face, we have to go beyond revolutionary militancy,” he said.

In the same way, he mentioned that at this point no one knows the opposition candidates.

In this regard, he pointed out that unlike those opposition sectors, the Chavistas “do stand up with our women and men leaders to the positions of popular election, here in Portuguesa the undisputed leader of the Revolution is called Primitivo Cedeño and will be elected governor of this state.”
