President (E) Delcy Rodríguez awarded Mercal number 200 rehabilitated nationwide

This Sunday, August 16, the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, inaugurated the 200th Mercal rehabilitated nationwide in Caracas, as part of actions to strengthen the distribution of food at affordable prices.

Rodríguez also highlighted that the day also includes the opening of seven Mercal establishments across the country, including one located in La Guaira, with the purpose of expanding family access to products with discounts of up to 70%.

“The products that arrive here have no intermediaries, it's direct; it's a direct link between producers and the distribution system of Mercal and Pdval,” said the president, referring to the economic prices of food in that establishment.

In the same way, he took the opportunity to call for maintaining the national productive union between the sectors of agribusiness, the communal economy and entrepreneurship, to continue strengthening the distribution and supply system.
