President (E) Rodríguez: Venezuela records 21 consecutive quarters of growth

The president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, highlighted this Sunday that Venezuela has accumulated 21 consecutive quarters of economic growth, as part of the economic recovery process that the country is going through.

He also highlighted that this economic growth is also evidenced by the increase in food consumption during the first seven months of the year.

“It's positive that there is more food consumption in our people, it's a process of gradual recovery,” said Rodríguez, noting that food consumption grew 9.6%, while proteins increased 11.8%, cereals 4.78% and fats 6.99%.

In turn, he also highlighted the growth of domestic production in areas such as seafood, pork and buffalo meat, eggs, chicken, rice, corn and vegetables.

In addition, he indicated the importance of strengthening the export vocation, especially to Caribbean countries, considering this region as a natural market for domestic products. “May what we did in Venezuela be our extraordinary ambassador,” he said.

In the same way, it reaffirmed the commitment of the Bolivarian Government to improve workers' incomes to strengthen their consumption capacity and continue to energize the economy.
