The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, signed this Friday the new Law on the Special Regime for the Leasing of Properties Intended for Housing, approved unanimously in the National Assembly (AN).

“I thank the president of the National Assembly (Jorge Rodríguez) and the deputies who accompany us here for the effort (...) they are the signs of a country, in this case the parliament, which is the political space where the political debate par excellence takes place, that has been approved unanimously,” he said.

From the Sucre municipality of Miranda state, during the launch of a subsidised financing plan with the Condominium Boards, the president in charge stressed that this Act will add up and will allow more homes to enter the rental market.

“These are initiatives that together allow us to meet the needs of those who were seriously affected by this double earthquake,” said Rodríguez.
