The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, stressed this Monday that no one takes the revolutionary process, promoted by Commander Hugo Chávez, off the electoral path, ahead of the regional and legislative elections on May 25.
“Our path is political, peaceful, electoral, constitutional and no one ever gets us out of there,” emphasized the Head of State during the 76th broadcast of his show Con Maduro+.
He regretted that the sectors of the right have different ways of seeing the electoral issue, so they are always divided between participation and abstention.
“Just as God has given us so much wealth, so much land, so many rivers, so many good things, this beautiful people; if only God would give us a coherent opposition with a new truly human, democratic, political leadership and not garbage like Sayona (María Corina Machado), Leopoldo López (...) pure garbage full of hate, fascism, permanent conspiracy,” he criticized.
