President in charge Delcy Rodríguez: The only interest that should exist is the welfare of the Venezuelan people

This Wednesday, January 21, the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, emphasized that “there can be no other interest than the welfare of the Venezuelan people”, as well as the defense of independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity.

In this regard, he asserted that he rejected any petty, personal or partisan stance that moves away from the needs of the People, so he urged maintaining the pace of work, to bring well-being to the Venezuelan population in its different areas, ensuring comprehensive care in every sector of the country.

“We can say that we are engaged and Popular Power in Venezuela today is being consolidated with an extraordinary mechanism of participatory and leading democracy,” he said.

He also stressed that we must move forward together in the true democratization of politics, promoting spaces where Venezuelans can meet from diversity, with respect and without turning their backs on the Homeland.

In this regard, he announced that in the next few hours he will offer important guidelines on how to strengthen politics and national coexistence, while reaffirming the need to face differences with tolerance, without hatred and without violence, recognizing the plurality of criteria as an essential part of democratic life.
