President in charge: From diversity we are called to rediscover ourselves as one great nation

“Freedom of worship prevails in Venezuela, and out of diversity we are called to rediscover ourselves as one great nation,” said the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez through her Telegram channel.

Rodríguez stressed that one of the points of consensus reached in the dialogue with religious organizations is the rejection of the economic blockade, and stressed that its effects have had a direct impact on the country's social welfare.

He reiterated the call to overcome all forms of intolerance and to reinforce democratic coexistence.

“I invite the Interreligious Forum to join in overcoming all forms of intolerance; and I call on all Venezuelans to join forces for development and national prosperity,” he said.

The meeting, held yesterday, as part of the Program for Democratic Coexistence and Peace, brought together leaders of various religious denominations, who presented proposals to strengthen social cohesion and support public policies aimed at national reconciliation.
