President in charge Rodríguez: The country will continue to strengthen the hydrocarbon industry

The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, assured that the country will continue to strengthen the hydrocarbon industry and boost domestic production to contribute to the country's economic growth.
“We want to grow with inclusion and with a vision of the future, strengthening our hydrocarbons industry; managing and saving our currencies responsibly; importing only what is necessary to strongly boost domestic production,” he said from his telegram channel this Sunday.
The president in charge recalled that this week she presented the Annual Message to the Nation before the National Assembly and held the first National Economic Council of 2026.
Regarding this last activity, he stressed that he had the opportunity to listen to all the productive sectors of the country, with the objective of building paths for development in the face of current difficulties. He also reported that “to accelerate our goals, we instructed the creation of two sovereign wealth funds managed with maximum transparency, aimed at balancing the living conditions of our people and transforming the country's infrastructure, another
fundamental step on this path.”
In addition, Rodríguez called for unity “this stage calls us to unity and greatness as a nation. Let's trust in our abilities, Venezuela has something to move forward with and nothing can stop us from conquering for the well-being of our people,” he said
