President in charge Rodríguez: We are moving forward with popular democracy where the people govern their destiny

From the popular Caracas parish of La Vega, the president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez Gómez, in a satellite pass, delivered two classrooms for the student community of the José Ángel Lamas National Educational Unit, located in the El Carmen neighborhood, of the Jorge Hernández parish, in the Cabimas municipality of the state of Zulia.
“The Bolivarian Government is strengthening communal democracy, communal action, communal intervention in the life of Venezuela,” said the president in charge.
In the communal territory “El Sueño de Chávez l”, the governor of the state of Zulia, Luis Caldera, received the pass and indicated that the entity's “576 Communes and Community Circuits have executed more than 2,300 projects and one of them is the José Ángel Lamas National Basic School”.
In this regard, the spokesperson Adolfo Laguna explained “today we are delivering 7 rehabilitated spaces for this educational unit. The intervention work was carried out on the upper part of the 500 square meter platform and the embellishments of the internal and external walls, President. Later, the upper internal interventions were also carried out, which were the anti-seismic coating of the facilities of this educational room, as well as the minor intervention of the floor of this school classroom for supreme happiness”.
The intervention of the school also included the installation of ceiling tiles, lighting work, air conditioning of the classrooms; and painting and beautification of the central courtyard area. This educational center serves a population of 25,896 inhabitants in the community, represented by 9,397 families. In turn, 22 Community Councils are formed.
Rodríguez Gómez concluded his speech by stressing the importance of continuing to “advance with popular democracy, with democracy from the ground up, and so he invited the people to continue to govern the destinies of Venezuela”.
