President in Charge: We will promote the production of gold, iron, bauxite, coal and cassiterite

The president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, asserted that in 2026, with her own efforts, Venezuela will promote the production of gold, iron, bauxite, coal, cassiterite and other minerals, with environmental responsibility and sustainability.

“All sectors united for economic stability, social justice and peace in Venezuela!” , Rodríguez said through a message posted on her Telegram channel.

The message was accompanied by a video with part of the working meeting of the Mining and Basic Industries Engine, in which the President in Charge said that Venezuela expects to increase gold production by 30% this year.

“We made a presentation to the board of directors of the national assembly to approve the Organic Law on Mines and Minerals to allow us to attract significant flows of international investment and that this international investment be accompanied by joint work with Venezuelan companies,” he added.

He asserted that this is the formula that President Nicolás Maduro spoke of, to interact with all public and private sectors to paddle towards a single path that is the economic stability of Venezuela and the social happiness of our people.
