During a day of the Great Venezuela Transport Mission, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, specified that to date the Bolivarian Government has recovered and modernized 11 stations on Line 7 of the MetroBus System.

In a television contact from the Patio de Talleres del Metrobús La Paz to La Bandera Station, in San Pedro Parish, in Caracas, he oversaw the recovery of MetroBus Route 7, which was destroyed by fascist violence.

He stressed that the Metro must be fully recovered for public service and become a model company of Socialism, henceforth, in which socialist management prevails.

“We have to shake off bureaucratism, corruption and start plans for internal changes and transformations in the Metro. Which Metro do we want? Who does the Metro we want depend on?” , he said.

He affirmed that the New Era of Transition to Socialism must have a working class “educated, cultured, professional, prepared, empowered and at the forefront of all the changes that need to be made in the country, and the change starts at home, it starts in the Metro”.

The statement was made by the head of state, at the Metrobús La Paz Complex, where he led a day of work, for the Recovery of Administrative Facilities, Courtyards and Workshops.
