President Maduro activated popular-military-police merger in ZODI Nueva Esparta, Sucre and Delta Amacuro

The President of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, announced the activation of Plan Independence 200 in the Integral Defense Zones (ZODI) of Delta Amacuro, Sucre and Nueva Esparta, to protect the seas on the country's Caribbean-Atlantic façade.

In an audio broadcast on his Telegram channel, the Head of State ordered “to check and leave in optimal condition the 27 tasks or 27 actions of the entire comprehensive defense plan, combining preparation for prolonged, active and creative popular resistance, and permanent offensive, taking initiative in all fields, in all fields”.

He stressed that the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) is organized to carry out tasks “with the legitimate civil political authorities of the country, the states, the municipalities and our powerful popular movement, the popular power and the police forces.”

“We are refining the machinery to win peace every day, to win peace, to exercise sovereignty fully and to defend the people's right to life and joy. Activated!” , reiterated the Dignitary.
