President Maduro announced activation of ZODI in Nueva Esparta, Sucre and Delta Amacuro

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, announced that this Tuesday, October 14, they will be activated in the states of Nueva Esparta, Sucre and Delta Amacuro, of the Integral Defense Zones (ZODI), with the objective of strengthening the comprehensive defense of the Venezuelan seas of the Atlantic and of the entire Caribbean-Atlantic façade.

“They already have the order, the order is given. We are activating three ZODI, three states for the comprehensive defense of our seas,” he said during the Digital Zone Segment, of edition 94, of his Con Maduro+ program, referring to the approval of the National Assembly (AN), in the first discussion of the Law of Commands for the Integral Defense of Venezuela.

He explained that the objective is to complete these activations in all states of the country, “by Integral Defense Zone all the 27 tasks that are being perfected in the field.”

He specified that the objective is that “Venezuela in perfect national union, in perfect popular-military-police fusion, fulfilling the mandate of our Constitution, Venezuela is prepared to continue winning peace, exercising its sovereignty and independence and winning the right to life and joy.”

The head of state recalled that last week the ZODI were activated in eight states: La Guaira, Zulia, Anzoátegui, Monagas, Bolívar, Carabobo, Aragua and Falcón, in which 27 comprehensive tasks were carried out.

He also reported that during this week the defensive actions of other ZODIs in the country will continue.
